o Activity: Various – painting park benches, picking up sticks, hedge trimming, weeding
Volunteers will be asked to sign a liability waiver and are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and dress comfortably.
Tuesday, June 2 | 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Kansas Food Bank - Wichita
Participants: 20
o Location: 1919 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS. Entrance at southeast corner of building.
o Activity: Sorting or bagging produce, packing Food 4 Kids packets, packing senior boxes, sorting donations, etc.
For safety, all volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes—no sandals or open-toed footwear will be permitted. Please note that outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the Volunteer Center.
Wednesday, June 3 | 9:00am – 11:00am
Ashby House Family Shelter - Saline County Council
Participants: 10-15
o Location: 150 S 8th St, Salina KS
o Activity: Various tasks such as cleaning, landscaping, organizing, light office tasks (thank you cards, answer phones, etc.)
Volunteers will be asked to sign a confidentiality form and sign in sheet and are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and dress comfortably.
Thursday, June 4 | 10:00am - 12:00pm
Wichita Family Crisis Center - Wichita
Participants: 10
o Location: Anonymous, will be shared with volunteers.
o Activity:
- Indoor group- refresh rooms after renovations (assemble furniture, paint, clean), sort clothing donations, organize clothing closets and clear out outdated clothing, and create hygiene/linen kits.
- Outdoor group- refresh playground and surrounding patio, water flowers and plants, repaint parking lot lines, and clean agency vehicles.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and dress comfortably.
Friday, June 5 | 9:00am - 11:00am
Cowley County Humane Society - Cowley County Council
Participants: 5-10
o Location: 7648 222nd Road, Winfield, KS 67156
o Activity: Moving fence, Outdoor clean up, Painting, Cleaning
Volunteers will be asked to sign a liability waiver and are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and dress comfortably.

Angel’s In The Attic, Inc - Cowley County Council
Participants: 2
o Location: 109 S Summit, Arkansas City, KS 67005
o Activity: Sort Donations, Stock Shelves, Assist Customers
Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and dress comfortably.
